Questions people actually ask

Is it weird to want this at 24?

No. A lot of people who order are in their twenties, living away from home, and never quite explain it to anyone. You grew up with him and then your life got loud. Wanting him back on a shelf is not a phase you are supposed to have outgrown.

Do I have to do pooja for him?

No. He has had no pran pratishtha, so he is not a consecrated murti. No snan, no shringar, no bhog, no routine to keep. If you forget him for a month, nothing is broken and nothing is owed.

Can I keep him in a PG or hostel room?

That is mostly where he ends up. He needs a shelf and nothing else. No diya, no thali, no wall space, no landlord conversation. He sits next to your speaker and your plant and looks like he belongs there.

What if he gets dirty or torn?

He is made for dry-clean care and stitched to hold up. Because he is not a consecrated murti, none of the rules about a khandit murti apply to him. If something does go wrong, write to us.

How big is he?
